The radiopaque marker is made of tantalum, which confirms the position of the balloon under X-ray. The tubing is made of Pebax. The dilation balloon is designed for the dilation of digestive tract stenosis by compression from the inner to the outer organ wall. The balloon is used to exert radial force to dilate narrow segments.
